Brass Nataraja Sculpture

Hindu God Lord Shiva is portrayed by Nataraj as a cosmic dancer. Lord Shiva performs Nataraj, which is the presentation of the Shiva Tandavam. Most temples in the south have this representation of Lord Shiva, which was initially depicted in bronze in the fifth century. At our Brass Sculpture from South India at M/S Gayatri Handicraft, Lord Shiva embraces the perfect physical qualities while immobilising in the moment of his dance.

During that time, a lot of paintings and sculptures were inspired by the Nataraj statue. The beautiful manifestation of Lord Shiva known as Nataraj serves as the creator, preserver, and destroyer all in one. Shiva is seen dancing in one of the Natya Shastra postures in our Brass Nataraja Statue.
